Where is East Woodhay?East Woodhay is a small hamlet in the north west corner of Hampshire. However, the name also covers the parish of East Woodhay which comprises a number of villages, hamlets and houses, the largest village being Woolton Hill. The nearest town is Newbury which is about five miles (eight kilometres) to the north over the county boundary in Berkshire. About 15 miles (25 kilometres) to the south is Andover. East Woodhay is adminstratively part of Basingstoke which is about 20 miles (32 kilometres) to the south-east.
